Montgomery County now has a Veterans Assistance Commission. You can go to their website by clicking the link below. The Veterans Assistance program is designated to provide needed services to eligible veterans and families who, according to written standards adopted and applied consistently by the Montgomery County Veterans Assistance Commission, herein after referred to as MCVAC, are in need of meeting basic living expenses and/or advocacy services. Basic living expenses include such items as food, shelter, utilities, personal needs, transportation and medical expenses considered essential to the health and well being of the individual or the family.
