IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT FEE CHANGES!
[e-Mail this Article]     [Print this Article]

ATTENTION: Prices have been raised for Document Storage and Automation fees from $5 each to $15 each. This is on all cases that have the Document Storage and Automation fees except petty traffic and ordinance violations.

Also note that our redocketing filing fee is as follows: prior to 30 days $40, after 30 days $60

Judge Long requested that the County Board pass a resolution increasing the Law Library Fee pursuant to the Illinois compiled Statutes 55 ILCS 5/5-39001. On December 8, 2009 the Board approved the attached increases to the Law Library Fee as Resolution #09-37. It is the duty of the Clerk to enforce these fee changes per the request and approval of the Board. This change is effective as of December 8, 2009 and will increase the cost for civil filings by $5.00 (five dollars). In January 2010, the fee will again increase by another dollar per the resolution. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding this matter.

We are in the process of updating these prices where they appear through out the website. Until this is done, please note that storage and automation fees listed elsewhere may be out of date and the fees listed above are correct and current.
